Mala (name changed) lives in a small village and was in a challenging financial situation. Her husband’s small business provided some income, but it was barely enough to cover their expenses, especially with two children attending school.
Determined to improve her family’s financial situation, Mala joined a Hands of Freedom Discipleship group, where she is being discipled and mentored. She has a very entrepreneurial spirit, which was observed by the Hands of Freedom team. She enrolled in the rural MBA program. This training has proved invaluable, equipping her with the knowledge and skills needed to manage and run her new business. The gospel-based discipleship training along with business development services has become the cornerstone of her entrepreneurial journey.
Thanks to seed capital from Hands of Freedom, she launched her own business by setting up an omelet cart. Through hard work and determination, she has turned a simple idea into a successful venture, providing her family with a better quality of life.
“The Omelet cart has been a game-changer, helping me not only support my family but also invest in my children’s education.” Mala
Today the income provided by Mala’s business has brought much-needed stability to her family’s finances, allowing her to better support her children’s education and contribute more to the household needs.
